About Us

A Story Built from the Heart of a Family

Mama Rosa’s Daycare was born from an experience many parents know all too well—the challenge of finding a place where you truly feel confident leaving your child.

When Rosa Luz moved to the United States with her family, she quickly realized how important it is for working parents to know their children are safe, loved, and well cared for. That experience inspired her to create a daycare where families could find exactly that: a place built on trust, love, and peace of mind.

Meet Rosa

My name is Rosa Luz Lumbe, and I’m originally from Peru. As an Early Childhood Education professional, I’ve dedicated more than 15 years to caring for young children because I truly believe that supporting them during their earliest years is one of the most meaningful and rewarding responsibilities.

Together with my husband, Oswaldo, we’ve built Mama Rosa’s Daycare as a family business with a simple but heartfelt mission: to make every child feel loved, safe, and happy while they’re in our care.

What started as a small daycare has grown thanks to the trust and support of the wonderful families we’ve had the privilege to serve. Many patiently waited for us during our move so they could remain part of our community—a kindness we’ll always be grateful for.
